This is something I've been meaning to do for a long time. Ever since I got a hold of designer Michael Perry's two books -
Hand Job: A Catalog of Type and
Over and Over: A Catalog of Hand-Drawn Patterns - I've fallen in love with hand-lettering and obsessively filling in entire pages of my Moleskine sketchbook with words and doodles. This is an illustration of Eazy-E (based on a
stencil I drew and cut out earlier this year), filled in with hand-written lyrics to
Boyz in da Hood. Thank goodness for .02
Pigma Micron archival ink pens.
